Building Confident Investors, One Decision at a Time

Our programs start in September 2025 and run through March 2026

We don't promise overnight wealth. What we do is teach practical skills for understanding markets, reading financial statements, and making informed decisions. Real learning takes time—which is why our courses run for several months, not a few rushed weeks.

How We Actually Teach

Most people who come through our doors aren't finance experts. They're teachers, engineers, small business owners—folks who want to understand where their money goes and how to grow it responsibly.

We structure everything around real scenarios. You'll work with case studies from actual Canadian markets, analyze businesses you recognize, and practice with tools professionals use daily.

  • Small cohorts of 12-15 students so you get actual attention
  • Weekly sessions with homework that builds on previous lessons
  • Access to financial databases and analysis software
  • Guest speakers from local investment firms and banks
  • Open office hours twice weekly for questions

What You'll Cover

Our curriculum focuses on Canadian markets and regulations, but the principles apply anywhere. Programs run 24 weeks with flexible evening and weekend options.

WEEKS 1-6

Foundation Concepts

Learn to read balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. We start with public companies you already know—Canadian banks, telecom providers, retailers.

WEEKS 7-12

Market Mechanics

How exchanges work, order types, bid-ask spreads. You'll place simulated trades and see how different strategies perform over various market conditions.

WEEKS 13-18

Analysis Methods

Valuation techniques, ratio analysis, sector comparison. We cover both fundamental and technical approaches so you understand different schools of thought.

WEEKS 19-24

Portfolio Construction

Asset allocation, diversification, rebalancing. You'll build a sample portfolio matched to specific goals and risk tolerance levels.

ONGOING

Tax Considerations

Canadian tax treatment of investments—TFSAs, RRSPs, capital gains. We bring in a tax specialist for three dedicated sessions.

CAPSTONE

Final Project

Research and present a complete investment thesis for a company of your choice. Defend your analysis in front of the class and guest evaluators.

Real Progress Takes Time

Foundation Program Graduate, 2023

One of our 2023 graduates came in knowing nothing about investing beyond what friends told him at parties. After completing the program, he spent six months paper trading before putting real money in. Now he manages his own portfolio and recently helped his sister understand her company's stock options.

March 2023 Completed foundation program
April-Sept 2023 Practiced with virtual portfolio, attended alumni sessions
October 2023 Started managing personal investments
January 2025 Returned as guest speaker to share his approach

Next Cohort Begins September 2025

Applications open in June. We accept 15 students per session and typically fill spots within three weeks. If you're considering joining, reach out with questions first.
